Abstract:
This research is a Quasi Experimental has divided the sample into two groups and each group was 30 students. The sample was randomization by simple randomization method. The objective was to study the effect of the short movie for smoking prevention behavior among secondary school students and between groups of experimental and control group comparing program results. The trial of the experimental groups and the comparison group.Data collected in 4 weeks by watched a short movie for smoking prevention behavior program. The data were analyzed paired sample t-test, and use descriptive statistics;percentage, mean and standard deviation. An inferential Statistics, including independent sample t-test and paired sample t-test at significance level of 0.05. The results showed that the experimental group health belief score, self-behavioral aspects of smoking score were baseline with statistically significant (p<0.05) compare of experimental group. The health belief score, efficacy of self-defense score, and behavioral aspects of smoking score were higher than the control group with statistically significant (p<0.05). summarized, when the experimental group by watched short movies had average scores were higher than the comparison group as a result of the perception. in defense of their smoking prevention behavior from the health belief model of the individual.
