Abstract:
This study is aimed to 1) explore the role of the Islamic Private School Administrator on the manipulation of the Tobacco-consumption Control in Students. 2) study of activities concerning tobacco-consumption among the students in such the Islamic educational instutions. 3) study the schools’ dynamic potencies about problematic entities and some aspects that contradicts and threatening the manipulation of Tobacco-consumption Control.4) study the method and technicalities in developing the School Administrators’ roles and types of administration and managements to tackle the tobacco-consuming related problems. The sample of this study constitutes the staffs of executives in the private Islamic educational institutions for the amounts of 214 figures, by which the Purposive Selective Methods is used. The locality of the schools studied is in the approximity within the areas in the southern-most provinces of the kingdom, of which the schools of 1,500 students upwards are exclusively selected. Three schools from each four provinces selected with the sample amounts of seven figures. The ”Focus Group” is used as data-collecting tools by which In-depth Interviewing technics with Guideline, while the “Content Analysis” used as tool for data-analysis. The result of this study determines that 1. The roles of Administrators do generally exist in manipulating the tobacco-consumption control in Southern parts area of the Kingdom in the levels of high and medium. 2. The roles of Administrators in such a manipulation with both the direct and indirect ways through several methods and approaches e.g. in the Islamic value-related, on smoking by optimistic triaging society campaigning, etc. 3. The administrators’ dynamic potencies,within which problem-solving contradicting entities in manipulating the tobacco-consumption mitigation and control as following. 3.1 In potential entity : the development in the administrators’ roles together with types and styles in managing the problems stresses upon the efficiency to tackle such a problem, for the following 1) The empowerment of working-staff as to develop the dynamic potencies and capabilities to both practitioners and administrators. 2) The clarification in policy-making and its implementations. 3) The continuity and appropriateness in subsidizing the financial issues and budgeting from the organized bodies. 3.2 Problems : 1) The students’ attitudes pertaining to tobacco are beyond appropriateness. 2) Unsounded external-spatial environment with social participation to tackle the mitigation and control the tobacco-consumption and narcotic addiction. 3) The administrators’ spontaneous policy about mitigating and control the tobacco-consumption among students and narcotic addiction. 4) The policy implementing is lack of specific staff responsible. 5) Lack of the participation-oriented promotion acquirement from the externalities. 6) Lack the external fostering pertaining the mitigating and control the tobacco consumption from organized subsidizing agents. 3.3 Contradicted and Threatening entities: Lack of continuity in policy making, its implementing and assessing and evaluation in all levels. 1) Time inaccessibility in the mitigating and control the tobacco-consumption. 2) Lack of the appropriateness in facilitating figures responsible to tackle with the acknowledging the mitigating and control the tobacco-consumption to the students. 3) Lack of the responsible staffs to tackle the problems. 4) Lack of the external fostering agencies and social participation to tackle the problems. 4. The administrators’ recommedations: In excursions to mitigating and solving the problems it is necessary to be acquired from the outsiders albeit external fostering agents pertaining the mitigating and control the tobacco-consumption from organized agencies, both from the public and private sectors.
